The beautiful former Manuscripts Room at the British Museum has been adapted to house an ever-changing temporary display of selected objects from the museum's most important collections while improvements are made to the permanent galleries.

The gallery is divided into four sections and is colour coded to aid visitor navigation. This colour coding is carefully carried through the entire display unifying the in-case displays with the graphic interpretation.
